Sion-Manning is a vibrant, forward looking, innovative community committed to securing achievement and reaching for excellence.
The school was awarded Specialist Visual Arts Status in 2002. We became the hub for Schools’ Sports Partnership for RBKC in 2006 and allocated 1 million pounds lottery funds to build a dance studio and a fitness suite which benefits all our students and the community.
We are the first extended school for RBKC which saw us introduce a range of after school and weekend activities including taekwondo, languages and art classes. A breakfast club is open to all students who arrive early at school. In June 2010 the Diocese of Westminster described Sion-Manning as ‘an outstanding Catholic school.’ Our Ofsted inspection said “A caring and cohesive learning community where students gain good support from each other and achieve well in their academic studies” and “Students take pride in their school, are well motivated and have a positive attitude to learning”.
